Dear Friends,

As we move toward the election, I invite you to a prayer circle/lovingkindness ceremony, Sunday evening November 1, at the farm. It will be late – come about 7 – because some people are still doorknocking until 7. We’ll have a bonfire going (weather looks good, but indoors is also possible) and lights, chairs, and optional blankets. Expect to end about 8; optional to come indoors afterwards for snacks or conversation.

I’ll open with an introduction to lovingkindness (metta) meditation; we’ll allow the evening to unfold with other expressions, offering for ourselves and loved ones, our communities large and small, the world, including all beings human and beyond.

If you need directions, ask me (shodo.spring@gmail.com or 507-384-8541). It helps if I know you’re coming – chairs, parking, etc.

If you’re far away, or otherwise it doesn’t work to come, please join us in spirit, in the place where we all are one. If you tell me, we can name you as present with us.  In any case, we spend this time in the space of community, and in the embrace of all beings of earth and sky.

May all beings be happy.  May all beings be at peace. May all beings be safe. May all beings know the light of their own true nature.
