DESCRIPTION:We’ll start the summer with a weekend in the garden\, outdoors\, with community practice and optional meditation occasions. Always\, the land is our teacher.  \nWe’re building the time around these items: two long-time permaculturists will be with us (and their families)\, and I’ve just completed a workshop on how to tend and restore that natural land. Depending on what’s needed and what skills are available\, we’ll engage with the land and each other.  \nMeals are offered\, camping and simple accommodations are available. You can come and go as you like\, but please register so we can plan.\nDonations are welcome\, as are potluck donations. DESCRIPTION:Zen precepts\nSuitable for people of any experience\, of particular interest to people interested in receiving the precepts. We start again January 8 and continue weekly. \nClass begins at 6:30 pm Central Time with 15 minutes of zazen (sitting meditation)\, followed by presentation and discussion\, ending at 8 Central Time and followed by an optional sitting period to 8:30.
