Farm work day – garden and fence projects

We’re doing monthly work days, focusing on permaculture projects. This can be an introduction to permaculture or a chance to apply knowledge you have already. It’s also a time to make friends while working together.

Here are our most likely projects:

• Plant/tend gardens, including perennial vegetables.
• Repair/rebuild fencing. (No, we don’t still have snow – this is just the best image of our hand-build creative deer fence.)
• Transplant berry plants

If it rains, there are indoor projects – sharpen tools? organize the shed? We’ll be in touch if you’ve registered, and you can decide whether to come or not.

As always, lunch is provided. All ages are welcome; take care with small children around farm safety.
